Tawa Palao/Pulav
TAWA PALAO/PULAV (Street Food)

INGREDIENTS
For Chilli Paste
Dry red chillies (soaked) 6-8 no's
Garlic cloves 5 no's
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Garam masala powder ½ tsp
Pav bhaji/biriyani masala powder ½ tsp
For Tawa Palav
Oil 1 Tbsp
Butter 1 Tbsp
Green chillies 2 no's
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Onion (sliced) 1 small
Chilli paste 2 Tbsp
Cabbage (shredded) ¼ cup
Capsicum (sliced) ½
French bean's (chopped) 3-4 no's
Tomatoes (chopped) 1 small
Green pea's (boiled) ½ cup
Potatoes (boiled) 1 medium
Salt To taste
Pav bhaji masala powder ¼ tsp
Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Water splash
Rice (cooked) 2-3 cup's
Coriander leaves garnish
Butter 1 Tbsp
METHOD
In a blender add soaked dry red chillies (soaked for 3-4 hours), garlic cloves, cumin seeds, garam masala powder, pav bhaji masala powder/biriyani masala powder in a blender and blend into fine smooth paste and keep it aside.
Heat a pan/tawa in low flame add butter and oil when it's hot add cumin seeds, let it splutter now add green chillies, onions and saute till onions are translucent, now add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes, now add chill paste which was blended and cook for 2 minutes, now add cabbage saute well and cook it for 3-4 minutes. Add French Bean's and cook it for 2 minutes later add in the capsicum, boiled potatoes, tomatoes and mix everything together and cook for 5-6 minutes. Adjust the salt add in the biriyani/pav bhaji masala powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and a splash of water to bring everything together and cook for 2 minutes. Now add the cooked rice and toss well and finally add the butter garnish with coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
